Artisan for the Future

Artisan for the Future is an innovative and interactive exhibition created by Riva Mobili D’Arte, excellence in luxury furnishings, in the context of Spazio Lenovo, an ecosystem of digital innovation in the heart of Milan, included in the official schedule of the Milan Design Week 2023 initiative and created in partnership with the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milan.

From 17 to 23 April from 10.30 am to 7.30 pm, on the occasion of Milan Design Week 2023, at Spazio Lenovo, in Corso Matteotti 10, we presented ARTISAN FOR THE FUTURE, an installation of precious furniture created by Riva Mobili D’Arte, flanked by Lenovo and Motorola solutions, which will see the participation of students from the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan.

At Spazio Lenovo, an immense table of over 8 metres will be placed on the first floor, with inlays and precious mother-of-pearl; moreover, for the occasion, the Bistrot has proposed a special menu designed especially for the FuoriSalone week.

While on the ground floor, centre stage, was the Piano, a historic Steinway & Sons from the late 19th century, overhauled on the inside to make the sound perfect and completely realised in the aesthetic part with the unmistakable style of Riva Mobili D’Arte.

Every day the exhibition project came to life thanks to the performances of the students of the Milan Conservatory, protagonists of a different concert every evening at 6 pm.

Original and articulated, the programs of the single appointments ranged between classical and electronic pieces, interpreted by the students of the “Verdi”: they performed at the piano of Riva Mobili D’Arte, in formations that foresee the interaction of electronic keyboards, drums, flutes, saxophones, combined with Lenovo devices.
