Riva Mobili D’Arte and Damiani:
the collaboration of two Excellences
The partnership between Riva Mobili D’Arte, luxury classic furniture company, and Damiani, excellence in the jewellery sector, is born from the sharing of the same values and passion for their art.
The exclusive Damiani showroom in Via Monte Napoleone in Milan was the stage, during the Design Week 2022, for the Bolvedro Collection by Riva Mobili D’Arte: works of art created with precious mother-of-pearl and elegant inlays, and surrounded by the splendour of the goldsmith creations of the Damiani Maison.
The inspiration for the Bolvedro Collection comes from the shores of Como Lake, from the crystalline waters that caress its shores. A collection with sinuous lines that, through special workmanship, combines various precious and carefully crafted materials.
In centre stage was the Piano, a historic Steinway & Sons, identification number 15964, made in Hamburg in 1867, and covered with precious mother-of-pearl: completely renovated both inside, to make the sound perfect, and outside, with decorative elements recalling the Bolvedro collection. In addition to the piano, an elegant sideboard, a refined display case and a console table decorated with rich inlays are also exhibited.
The exclusive exhibition connected two historic Italian businesses, two family firms linked to tradition, craftsmanship and original, recognisable design, to offer the best experience of ‘Made in Italy’ excellence.
