NOTES OF DESIGN

Riva Mobili D’Arte’s project for Milan Design Week 2024 is born from the desire to create an experience that fuses the excellence of luxury classic furniture with the magnificence of classical music.

A unique event that not only celebrates artistic beauty through design, but also offers a refined musical experience in a historic and prestigious setting: via Montenapoleone in Milan. In fact, a splendid transparent showcase will be set up at number 10/12, furnished with unique products created by the mastery of the craftsmen of Riva Mobili D’Arte. In particular, it will be possible to admire the piano of the Masterpiece Collection, made of the most precious woods and with mother-of-pearl inlays: a sculpture that illuminates and embellishes any environment.

And it is precisely on the marvellous piano exhibited in the showcase, overhauled in the mechanics to make the sound perfect and completely realised in the aesthetic part with the unmistakable style of Riva Mobili D’Arte, from Sunday 14th April until Sunday 21st April that the piano students of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatorio in Milan, including some young talents of the school, will perform a varied musical repertoire, also for four hands.

Every day the exhibition project will come to life thanks to a double performance by the students of the Conservatorio, who will be the protagonists of a different concert at 2 and 6 pm.
